The Citizens to Protect State Parks and Historic Sites (CPSPHS) is currently working with Missouri State Legislators to introduce bills that would create a protective halo or buffer zone around Missouri's state parks and historic sites from Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs). Representative Jeff Harris (D-23) is sponsoring two House Bills (see below) for the 94th General Assembly, 2nd Regular Session Legislation in 2008. Your strong support is now requested to personally visit, write, email, and/or call your State Senators and Representatives, encouraging them to support and pass these bills. We also encourage you to contact Governor Matt Blunt.
